VMware Launches Free Fusion for Mac Upgrade Version 8.5
VMware Fusion 8.5 is also optimized for the recently release MacOS Sierra, version 10.12. Features include support for Tabs and Siri. Users running VMware Fusion 8.1.1, can get the upgrade to Fusion 8.5 for free. If you are running an earlier version, you can take advantage of the upgrade pricing. Head on over to the VMware Fusion 8.5 download page, click the download that corresponds with your currently installed edition. You can find this out by launching VMware Fusion, click the VMware Fusion menu then click About VMware Fusion.
Launch the VMware Fusion image then double click to install.
That’s it, you should now be running the latest version.
After logging into a Windows 10 virtual machine, the VMware Tools will automatically update itself then prompt for a restart.
